Cyndi D Richardson

Hello my name is Cynthia D Richardson "Cyndi". I graduated from South Oak Cliff in 1983. I have danced all through Jr. high  all the way up to now. I have 33 years of  coaching competitive dance.

I have been a coach for the Oak Cliff Redskins 25 years and 8 year at Purple Rain All-Starz Dance. I have to say honestly the best part of being a coach is watching their face expressions, when they reach a goal, accomplish a new skill or winning a competition. It is amazing to watch them create new friends and watch it grow and for those friendships become life long! Some of my best friends to this day, were a part of my Oak Cliff Redskins family.

Ever since I was 10 years old I have always wanted to own a dance company and work with athletes to become stronger, more confident and to believe in themselves. I believe that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to. I am here to help them along the way to reach their goals and become successful in anything they do. I am so excited to start this journey as a new gym owner and seasoned coach. I am learning more and more each day and still have more to learn.  I can't wait to work with your amazing kids and connect with them and help them with their love for dance. I have such a strong passion and love for cheer and athletes and I can wait to share it with all of our teams and athletes.

Kirsten Townley (Coach K)

Hi! I'm Kirsten and I'm so excited for my first year coaching with Purple Rain All-Starz! I have cheered with the Oak Oak Cliff Redskins and danced with the Oak Cliff Redskins as well, for over 7 years, whereas Coach Cyndi was my dance coach. I was a varsity cheerleader for Duncanville High School for (3 years) and for McMurry University for (4 years).

Over the past 7 years, I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in Duncanville ISD and coached a 6th grade dance team. What I love about coaching is watching their faces shine and glow, when they learn a new skill or just even when we say "Good job ladies"

Denise Hancock 

 I have been a coach at Purple Rain All-Starz since 2012. I love coaching dance, it is my number one passion in life. It is my home away from home. I have made life long friends being an athlete and working in the dance industry. I love watching my athletes grow into amazing people and watch them making those same bonds. The best part of coaching is watching their faces light up when they learn a new skill, win at a competition or just receiving treats after a hard day of practice.
